Forest City shareholders OK collapse of two-tiered stock structure; board pledges communication

Shareholders at Forest City Realty Trust, Inc., voted overwhelmingly Friday to do away with the real estate company's two-tiered stock structure, in a move that will reduce the Ratner family's control over the business.
