Did 'Game of Thrones' star pretty much confirm the show won't return until 2019?

In an interview with TV Guide, "Game of Thrones" star Liam Cunningham revealed production on the eighth and final season of the massively popular HBO show would begin this week. He also said shooting would extend to the summer.
