Car explodes on Cleveland’s west side; injuries reported

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Fire Department has responded to the city’s west side, where an explosion has left at least one person injured, officials tell Fox 8 News. It happened at around 8 a.m. in the 10900 block of Linnet Avenue. A spokesperson from Dominion gas company said a car caught fire, exploded, then spread flames to surrounding homes.
