Arlan Hamilton, founder of Backstage Capital, speaks Tuesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Tech Elevator, 7100 Euclid Ave. Her new fund has invested more than $2 million in 50 companies, with a goal to reach 100 by 2020. The fund targets underfunded groups including people of color, women and LGBTQ.
