Army Corps study on keeping Asian Carp from Great Lakes suggests noise system, stunning barrier

The Army Corps of Engineers says it examined six options as it sought ways to keep Asian carp out of the Great Lakes, at the choke-point at the Des Plaines River in Illinois that would have minimal effect on other uses of the waterway. The public can comment on its recommendations until Sept. 21.
