Irv Cross, Former Rams Player And Broadcast Pioneer, Dies At 81

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Former Los Angeles Rams cornerback Irv Cross, who became a sportscasting pioneer after retiring from the NFL and spent 23 years with CBS, has died at age 81.
Cross died Sunday morning near his home in Roseville, Minnesota, the Philadelphia Eagles reported on their website.The Eagles are saddened to learn of the passing of Irv Cross.
