Deputies Shoot, Wound Suspect During Compton Barricade

COMPTON (CBSLA) – A man was shot and wounded by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies during a barricade situation in Compton Thursday morning that also sparked a garage fire.

The shooting occurred in the 500 block of South Bradfield Avenue a little after 5:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect was struck by gunfire, but no deputies were injured, the sheriff’s department said. His condition was not confirmed
