Wrong turn leads to arrests at Peace Bridge

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A wrong turn led to the arrests of two people at the Peace Bridge.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers inspected a vehicle after its turn onto the bridge. Inside of it, officers say they found a stolen, loaded handgun with the serial number scratched off, as well as baggies of suspected crack cocaine and marijuana. Another baggie of marijuana was located in an occupant’s purse, officers say.
