Woman dies after being struck by vehicle

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – First responders were called to the first block of Girard Place after a woman was struck by a vehicle.
Police say a woman was hit by a car and transported to ECMC where she later died. The woman was in her 40’s but police have not released her identity.
The call came in just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
No charges have been filed for the crash, according to police.
