Winds cause damage and outages across WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — High winds caused severe damage across Western New York Wednesday.
As of 11 p.m., thousands of customers were without power. Here are how many were reported by county between NYSEG and National Grid:
Erie – 24,791
Niagara – 24,719
Cattaraugus – 6,303
Chautauqua – 7,552
Genesee – 16,666
Orleans – 10,939
Allegany – 4,090
Wyoming – 7,595
