Wind speeds drop, so do the temperatures

As the wind continues to diminish, the wind advisory that had been in effect for most of western New York, has been discontinued.  On the back side of this developing storm, colder air will start to sweep back into the region on a rather windy, mostly cloudy Wednesday and there’s a chance of a few light snow showers especially in the higher terrain.  The wind will steadily diminish during the day. There may be some odd breaks in the clouds.
