Enjoy the dry weather this Thursday morning, because it will change this afternoon and evening.  Scattered rain showers start to develop midday and into the afternoon.  Rain and thunderstorms will increase in intensity and coverage during Thursday evening with some locally heavy downpours.  The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of Western New York at a somewhat greater slight risk for severe thunderstorms.  Expect a huge temperature range across the area today.
