Wednesday; A weather transition day

Today will be the transition day into a cooler less humid pattern for the end of the week. Weakening showers will work into the far western counties Wednesday morning ahead of a weather front.  During the midday/afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will intensify south and east of the city, and may result in some heavy downpours with localized ponding of water in poor drainage areas .
