Virginia county distillery first to sell moonshine legally since before prohibition

FRANKLIN COUNTY (WSLS 10) – For the first time since before prohibition, Twin Creeks Distillery will be the first Franklin County distillery to sell moonshine legally since before prohibition.
The craft of making “white lightning” goes back to the early 1900’s for Chris Prillaman’s family.
“Being from around here you see and hear all kinds of stuff about the history, and I always had an interest in it,” says Prillaman.
