VIDEO: Man in turtleneck robs store with hammer

CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The hunt is on for a suspect who robbed a store in Erie County, making off with an undetermined amount of cash Wednesday.
Police say a short, 5’5″ tall man weighing roughly 175 pounds entered a Delaware Street Gulf Mart store at 6:45 p.m. With a white turtleneck obscuring part of his face, he approached the counter, and caught on camera, he pulls a claw hammer from his waistband and brandished it as a weapon — rather than a tool.
