Vacant rectory burns, three locals face arson charges

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Firefighters had a tough fight on their hands as they battled the flames in a former rectory overnight, but fire officials are celebrating a job well done after crews were able to stop the flames from spreading to nearby buildings.
Firefighters were called to the former rectory building on Watson around 11:30 p.m. Monday and got to work trying to put the fire out.
