UPDATE: Woman dies after hit-and-run on Buffalo’s East Side

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Police are investigating a hit and run crash that left one person dead Thursday night.
It happened at East Ferry and Grider Street just after 10 p.m.
Initially, Buffalo Police tweeted that they were responding to an “apparent serious hit and run accident”. Just before 3:30 a.m. Friday, police confirmed a 40 year old woman had died.
