UFC suing state over MMA ban

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- The fight to legalize professional mixed martial arts in New York is back on.
The UFC is suing the state, citing the ban on the sport at the professional level is unconstitutional: it’s legal in every other state in the country.
News 4 spoke to some MMA fighters from Western New York this summer, who told us the ban forced them to travel out-of-state to compete.
Those who do fight here can only compete at the amateur level.
