UB’s parade halted in University District

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – It didn’t “rain on their parade”, but an issue over a permit forced them to change the route.
As the University at Buffalo’s marching band and cheerleaders were preparing to begin winding their way through some University District streets Friday, Fred Brace showed up asking to see a Special Events, or Parade Permit.
“When you do these things in the City of Buffalo, there’s a set of rules.” said Brace, who lives near the campu
