UB police warn of email phishing scam

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police at the University at Buffalo want students to double check their emails Tuesday morning.
They’re warning students to be on the lookout for a phishing scam.
The email, claiming to be from UB administrators, says it is an important message from the school.
Look closely though, and you’ll notice the word “important” is incorrectly spelled.
