UB opens dorms up to students early due to winter storm slamming coast

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Despite earlier announcements by University at Buffalo officials, the university will allow students to return to the on-campus housing early.
The change of heart comes due to a massive winter storm that will slam the east coast between Friday and Sunday, potentially gridlocking air travel and more.
Students will be allowed to return to campus on Friday, Jan. 22 at 9 a.m., and they won’t be charged additionally for doing so.
