UB offering home buying assistance for employees

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The University at Buffalo is hoping to improve neighborhoods surrounding its historic south campus by offering a loan program to employees to help boost home ownership.
And they hope to cut down on rising concerns about absentee landlords and a lack of community investment.
Friday’s announcement of the H.O.M.E. program, which stands for home ownership made easy, is a collaboration of several community groups.
