UB Bulls beat No. 23 Northern Illinois in MAC opener

(WIVB) — Kicking off MACtion by knocking off the top-ranked contender in the conference, University at Buffalo came from behind to score one of the biggest wins in its football history, 23-20 in overtime Saturday on the road against No. 23 Northern Illinois.Beating a ranked opponent for the second time ever, the Bulls improved to 3-1 for the third occasion in 26 seasons playing Division I FBS football. The only loss came on the road against No. 6 Missouri. UB's prior victory
