Two WNY natives arrested in parking lot shootout

AUGUSTA, MAINE (WIVB) – Two people from Western New York are in jail in Maine tonight.
Police say they were a part of a shootout in a Walmart parking lot.
According to the authorities, people inside two cars parked next to each other at the Augusta store started shooting at each other.
Police say two armed customers at the scene helped bring the shootout to an end.
Officers commended their bravery, but said they don’t encourage anyone to take similar heroic actions.
