TSA intercepts more firearms in 2015 as passengers skyrocket; Buffalo seizures decrease

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — In the course of protecting the nation’s flights, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) comes into contact with numerous illegal items, and the number is rising as a national total.
The number of passengers that flew around the United States increased by 40.7 million to a whopping 708 million passengers. Some of those passengers attempted to smuggle illegal items into their carry-on bags.
Passengers attempted to smuggle a massive 20 percent more
