Transforming ice into art

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — The first ever Great Lakes ice carving competition has wrapped up at the Erie County Fairgrounds.
Eleven different statues are on display now and will be through December 27th. The statues, which started as a 3,000lb. block of ice, are being displayed at the Festival of Lights.
