Trader Joe’s gets hit with lawsuit over under-filled tuna cans

NEW YORK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Trader Joe’s is being sued for under-filling its cans of tuna.
A class action lawsuit has been filed in Manhattan’s Federal Court against Trader Joe’s claiming the grocery store’s 5 ounce tuna cans only contain 3 ounces of tuna.
Tests by a U.S. government lab found that nearly every can was under-filled. It’s a violation of the federally mandated minimum standard.
