Tractor-trailer driver survives plunge over bridge-tunnel

CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE-TUNNEL, Va. (WAVY) — A tractor-trailer driver is on the mend after he reportedly went overboard at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
According to officials, it happened southbound at mile post 14, shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
