Tonawanda Coke employee killed in Wednesday accident

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Tonawanda Coke employee was killed in a Wednesday morning accident.
Authorities say the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. and that the employee, a 60-year-old man, was dead by the time police and paramedics had arrived at the scene.
His name has not yet been released.
No foul play is suspected in the fatality. The Medical Examiner’s Office has been notified of the incident.
The facility is located on River Road in the Town of Tonawanda.&n
