Thruway worker killed in crash on I-90 East

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A thruway worker was killed and another severely injured in a crash on I-90 East Thursday.According to Trooper Lynnea Crane, NYSP responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision just before 12:30 p.m. Investigators said a tractor-trailer operated by a 64-year-old man struck two NYS Thruway Authority workers in a work zone.
Troopers said a 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and a 58-year-old man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
