Thousands without power after overnight storm

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Utility crews have a long day ahead of them, they are busy this morning working to get power back on, for thousands of people following the overnight storms. NYSEG is reporting that the majority of them are in Clarence.
As of 8:30am, NYSEG is reporting more than 2,600 households in the Clarence area without power, and more than 1,000 in Depew.
Clarence has almost 1000, and Clarence Center has more than 1,600. A majority of those outages on Strickler Road, Salt Road,
