Tanker fire on I-90 causes closure near Batavia

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An entire section of I-90 is closed on Tuesday morning due to a tanker fire.Both eastbound and westbound lanes on the Thruway between exit 48 in Batavia and exit 46 outside of Rochester. The tanker is on fire in the area of exit 47 in Le Roy.Crews can be seen on camera responding as of just after 8 a.m. Tuesday. It is unclear when the road will open back up.
