Switch Pitcher: A rare breed of Bisons relief pitcher

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Pat Venditte is like no other: A pitcher who can throw with both his right and left hands — and do it well.
His ambidextrous approach is no gimmick: It’s calculated and has been since he was seven years old. It’s allowed him to rise all the way up to the Major Leagues, spending time with the Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays.
Now he’s with the Buffalo Bisons, throwing with both hands, using a six-finger glove, imported from Japan.
