Suspended BPD officer Corey Krug charged with third civil rights violation

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — As a court case builds against suspended Buffalo Police Department officer Corey Krug, prosecutors have named a third event that has led to additional civil rights charges.
Federal prosecutors say in addition to two other incidents, Krug caused bodily injury to a person he was arresting on Feb. 4, 2011. That led to two additional counts of deprivation of rights under color of law.
