Suspected serial bank robber arrested
WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The man believed to be behind a string of bank robberies in West Seneca and Cheektowaga is off the streets.
Police say Thomas Blachowski, of Depew, first struck an M&T Bank on Thruway Drive on Sept. 3. He’s of accused of moving on to rob a First Niagara Bank on Walden Avenue on Sept. 11 and then another M&T Bank branch on Slade Avenue on Sept. 15.
