Support, don’t punish: Message behind Global Action Day

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Crowds gathered holding signs to advocate for the global campaign “Support don’t punish” at Buffalo State’s Student Union Plaza Sunday.
They want to see changes in the way society deals with drug addiction. They say the epidemic won’t be solved by arresting people, but instead by providing compassion and support.
