Summery warmth returns; Temperatures cool this weekend

Some exceptional early autumn weather is ahead for us, that is after low clouds and some interior fog lift well southeast of the metro this morning. Generous sunshine is expected regionwide this afternoon. The plentiful sunshine will continue through Friday along with unseasonable warmth for this time of year. Readings will be well over 10 degrees above seasonal averages.
