Study finds most and least expensive states to drive in

BUFFALO, N.Y. (MEDIA GENERAL) — Driving isn’t cheap, but in some states, it’s more costly than in others to get around.
Drivers with traffic-filled commutes in and around big cities spend more money overall each year.
One group found Idaho, Vermont, Wyoming, Wisconsin and Minnesota have the most favorable conditions for drivers because they have many miles of open road.
At the bottom of the list are California, Texas, Maryland and New Jersey with long commute times.
