Strange charges from E-ZPass? Could be your windshield

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – When the Thruway’s electronic toll collector, E-ZPass, runs into a technical glitch, the road to getting it fixed–for the driver–can be full of potholes.
Chris Badura of Cheektowaga found that out when he discovered a number of overcharges on his E-ZPass account.
“I had called them to indicate that I think something is wrong with my tag. When I am going from A to B, it is charging me from A to Z.”
