State reveals new details as Marijuana program nears its start date

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Those in desperate need of medical marijuana to augment treatment for serious illnesses will soon be able to access the drug in New York State.
The program will begin as scheduled on Jan. 7, and it will provide marijuana products to certified patients suffering from cancer, ALS, AIDS, Parkinson’s Disease, multiple sclerosis and more. Patients in need may not be able to access it immediately, however.
