State regulators set course for affordable utility bills
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – State utility regulators could be on the verge of a groundbreaking program to ensure low income customers can afford to heat their homes and turn on their lights.
The New York State Public Service Commission held a hearing Thursday, at the Central Library to hear ideas from the public to “Address Energy Affordability for Low Income Utility Customers”. It was the third of four hearings the PSC has scheduled across the state.
