State receiving nearly $150 million for housing, economic development

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State is getting nearly $150 million in federal funding for affordable housing and economic development.
The funding comes from the Office of Community Planning and Development.
New York City is getting the bulk of the housing money — more than $53 million.
Buffalo tops the economic development list at more than $13 million.
Money will be used for affordable housing initiatives, anti-poverty programs and economic development.
