State promises crosswalks on Scajaquada by October

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Construction of crosswalks on the Scajaquada Corridor will begin in October.
The State Department of Transportation made the announcement shortly after community activists called for quicker action by the state.
The speed limit has already been lowered to 30 miles per hour following the death of a three year old child at the end of May. Lanes were also narrowed and stop signs installed on entrance ramps.
The Scajaquada Corridor Coalition says the crosswalks will
