St. Patrick’s Day parade draws thousands

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — St. Patrick’s Day may have been on Thursday, but locals continued celebrating the holiday Sunday with the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. It was a sea of green in downtown Buffalo as thousands lined the sidewalks with their Irish pride.
The parade had the traditional Irish dancers, blaring bagpipes along with several local Irish bands.
For many, the parade signifies the start of Spring which also fell on the same day this year.
