Springville-Griffith principal put on indefinite leave

SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — High School Principal Vincent Vanderlip has been placed on leave by the Springville-Griffith Institute School District.
District Interim Schools Superintendent Sylvia Root confirmed Wednesday that Vanderlip had been placed on leave.  She declined to say why or how long the leave would last.
The leave began in September. The district’s web site continues to list Vanderlip as the high school principal, a job he’s held since 2007.
