Some weekend raindrops on the way

National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has highlighted much of the region for an Isolated Severe Thunderstorm threat Sunday. Along the Niagara River, north of Grand Island, including far western Niagara, and much of Chautauqua County there could be Scattered Severe Thunderstorms. The primary threat will be potentially strong damaging wind gusts, hail. There will be a low-end tornado risk farther westward across the Great Lakes.
