Some U.S. Senators hope to reduce prescription medication cost
(KIMT) — Some families are finding it hard to be able to afford prescription medication.
That’s why quite a few U.S. Senators are coming together to try to bring down the cost.
U.S. Senator Al Franken (DFL) Minnesota is a member of the Senate Health Committee and he wants President Obama to help bring down the cost of prescription drugs.
He is hoping the President negotiates prices with drug manufacturers and promote competition in the generic drug market.
