Some NY homeowners might not get STAR rebates until 2017

LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Have you received your STAR rebate check yet? Is it for the right amount? Homeowners across the state are lamenting the STAR program that is supposed to give them tax relief is coming up short.
They were supposed to get their rebate checks months ago, but now state tax officials are saying some homeowners might not get their money until next year.
