Snow crashes down on Niagara County, “carcicle” remains frozen Wednesday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Wednesday morning started off with notice of a lake-effect snow advisory for Niagara County. The advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday.
Although the advisory is set to start in the evening, Niagara County still felt Mother Nature’s wrath in the morning.Further south in Erie County, the cold weather is still making an impact as the infamous “carcicle” at Hoak’s Restaurant in Hamburg remains frozen.
