Snow and ice create headaches for commuters

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Overnight winter weather made for a messy Wednesday morning commute. A layer of ice under snow that continued to fall through the morning created very difficult driving conditions in some spots.
That led several area school districts to cancel classes for the day rather than risk sending the buses out on slippery streets.
A lot of people had trouble even getting out on the roads in the first place because of the ice coating their cars.
